9/6/2008 · Steam : no text displayed + fix. Problem: Steam popup boxes suddenly have zero text displayed in them. Cause: Somehow the font got corrupted. Solution: Changed desktop theme. XPMCE –> right click desktop –> properties –> in Theme dropdown find a different theme. Windows then copies files & changes settings.
8/24/2012 · Unfortunatley when starting steam for the first time after it’s updates, I discovered there was no visible text . The window is still interactive, but there is no text and I have no Idea what to do. To make it worse this is my first time actualy using steam . Here is a screenshot of the starting menu.
